cloth zine pages

i named this piece 'art school prayer flags.' they are made from pieces prints i worked on throughout the semester. i photocopied the prints on to cloth and then made relief rolled words from cut up cereal box. the words i chose to print were words that i thought would be good reminders for someone on the treadmill of an art school semester - rest, love, exhale, veggies. one of my fellow classmates suggested that i should also have included the word 'bathe.' oh, yeah...i know it really isn't a zine, but it's how the piece evolved.

I love it! I love especially the photocopied element, and the mixed-media nature of the pieces. Show us more!

I really like the idea of a line of pages with sinple messages on them. So much more fun and interesting than a traditional zine. Love your work.

Nice idea to have little fabric experiments as prayer flags! Love them rolled in the last post too!
